Any student enrolled in LECS must be a resident of Orange County, Florida. Students entering Kindergarten must be 5 years old by September 1st, and students entering First grade must be 6 by September 1st.

Any child who is on the waiting list for the 2010/2011 school year must re-apply to be entered in the 2011/2012 lottery.

Please note that entering your child in the lottery more than once will not affect the chances of your child's name being selected. Siblings of current students will have priority over lottery entrants. If you wish to tour the school, please call the office to find out when the next tour will take place.

The LECS lottery for the 2011/2012 school year will take place on the first Wednesday in March at 5:30pm. The lottery is held at the Downtown Orlando Public Library.
