Lake Eola Charter School is organized as a non-profit corporation and is a private employer.

Two governance bodies have been formed to oversee the financial responsibilities of the corporation and the day to day operation of the school. These are the Lake Eola Charter School Board of Directors and the School Advisory Council (SAC), respectively.

Parental involvement is an essential component to the program at LECS. The Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) coordinates many functions and fund raising events to support school activities. Four parents will serve on SAC and priority will be given to facilitating the nomination of at least one parent to the school board. In addition to SAC, parents will serve on the standing committees which make recommendations to SAC.
