School Advisory Council

The School Advisory Council (SAC) consists of four parents, one teacher and two business members and shall be responsible for approving academic, facilities and general planning decisions.

The SAC Executive Board is as follows:

Chairman/Fundraising Committee — DeVonna Craner
Vice-Chairman/Technology & Facility Committee — Sharon Morell
Secretary/Teacher Representative — Claire Spielberg
After-school Programs Committee — Corrie Kelly
Business Partners Committee — Brian Payne
Curriculum Committee Co-Chair — Greg Mellowe
Curriculum Committee Co-Chair — Michele Stucker
LECS Director — Ronnie DeNoia

The SAC will make decisions regarding the day to day running of the school and shall include six standing committees that will be responsible for researching and making recommendations to the SAC. Standing committees may include members of the community, parents, students, and school staff. You can learn more about the SAC by reading this flyer.

The committees are:
1) an academic program committee;
2) a facilities and computer technology committee;
3) a hiring committee;
4) a business partnership committee;
5) a fundraising committee, and;
6) an afterschool committee.
