Exciting New Middle School Electives and Enrichment Opportunities for 2026-2027
Dear Middle School Families,
As we continue to grow and expand opportunities for our students, we are excited to announce several new resources and elective offerings for the 2026-2027 school year!
All middle school students will participate in Physical Education (PE) on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays as part of our commitment to supporting healthy lifestyles and student wellness.
In addition, all 6th and 7th grade students, as well as 8th grade students who are not enrolled in High School Spanish, will participate in Spanish twice each week. Beyond Spanish, these students will have the opportunity to take one additional elective course that they will take twice a week.
Elective options for the 2026-2027 school year include:
- Band
- Choir
- Orchestra
- General Music
- Advanced Art
- Engineering
- Robotics
- STEAM
To help us build next year’s class rosters, please rank your top three elective choices in order of preference. While we will make every effort to place students in one of their preferred electives, enrollment may be limited based on class size and staffing.
Students enrolled in High School Level Spanish will take Spanish during their academic course schedule each day. Because this course will not take the place of elective time, these students will have the opportunity to select two elective courses for the school year.
We are thrilled to expand the opportunities available to our middle school students and look forward to offering engaging experiences that allow students to explore their interests, develop new skills, and prepare for future success.
